Prayer Requests - Please pray with us especially in this season!

Picture
Thank the Lord with us for:
  • On August 16th, 2025, we celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary, and took a cruise over the winter trip back to the States to enjoy the memories!
  • We spent the months of March, April and May in Malasiga village working on getting the last books of the Tami NT ready for their last check.
  • Annie did the back translation of Revelation
  • Annie finished her Bible study of the book of Philippians with a group of Tami women.
  • A new translation committee chairman was elected, Tomas, who will see us through to the end of the translation project.
  • Consultant checking of Hebrews was in early August
  • Three Tami men and two Tami women came for three weeks in the late summer to read through and make final changes. They worked with Annie to do audio recording of Luke and then as many smaller NT testament Epistle books as possible.
  • Teams from the village came to Ukarumpa in the fall to do consultant checking on Revelation and 2 Corinthians.
  • Thank the Lord for the Tami folks who came to Ukarumpa in August (2-28) to consultant-check Hebrews, October (4-25) for Revelation and November (1-17) for 2 Corinthians. The Lord knows who they are. May He continue to bear fruit in their lives.

  • Please pray for us:
  • Please ask the Lord to keep Annie and I healthy as we have much work that needs to be completed over the next 6 months. If we are to begin typesetting the Tami New Testament in 2026 for an eventual dedication in 2027, we need to complete these last 3 books in 2025.
  • Please pray that the Lord would provide additional funds for these last 3 checking sessions. We only budgeted for having 2 people here for 3 weeks. But because the Training center is short-staffed through the end of the year, we have to bring in 5 folks each time for the Center to open up and provide housing and food for these teams.
